Our Mission
DCIPA’s mission is “Serving the Needs of Physicians and their Patients in Douglas County.” The IPA is physician-owned and has approximately 130 members. As the stewards of health and healthcare, The Physicians of Douglas County are the most important part of our healthcare delivery system.
We pride ourselves on being a physician-driven organization committed to providing access to high quality, affordable healthcare to our community including those on Medicare and Medicaid.
EMR System
One of the achievements DCIPA is particularly proud of is our electronic medical record (EMR) system, “UmpquaOneChart.” This is just one example of how we continuously strive to improve patient care.
Rural Health Clinic
DCIPA operates the Umpqua Regional Medical Center (URMC) in Roseburg, Oregon. This state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive primary care services for scheduled or ‘walk in’ patients.
The URMC is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is located in Harvard Medical Park, 1813 W. Harvard, Suite 201.
The URMC’s mission is to provide the best care and develop a thorough understanding of the needs of those they serve in a spirit of compassion, mutual respect and excellent service.

DCIPA offers employment opportunities in several fields that support our Physicians, including technology, office support staff, nurse case managers, medical professionals, coding and billing specialists, mid-levels and Physicians.
